I think these are great, but I have one specific need I’d like to see fulfilled. I’d love to have a way to attach a Post It note to an email, so that when I open it again, I can see the Post It I put on it, with my 3 or 4 word summary, a quick thought, or follow up questions for when I have time to get back to it. Seen anything like this? Know of anyone developing it?

What I am looking for right now is a plug-in which would give me back all of the Mac Mail features which were lost when I upgraded to Catalina. I’m thinking, being able to control column width, which fields are in the columns, and the order. I would love to have the option to get rid of “Top Hits” when I search through mail. I am sure there other things which got eliminated when Apple streamlined Mail to be more iOS-like, which could be brought back. I can’t figure out how to adjust scrolling amount in Mail specifically. Was that there before, or is it my faulty memory? That is the horrible thing about eliminating features without pointing it out to customers, it makes them distrust and project things on to Apple that may not even be true!

Unfortunately, Herald stopped working after High Sierra, and according to its web page, there is no plan to port it to Mojave and further. Mail.app in Mojave refuses to load it. Anyone know of any Herald alternatives? I LOVED that thing!

MailHub was amazing… and by “was” I mean to say that it stoped working with macOS Big Sur and there are no plans for it to reemerge.
