1. Netflix App Keeps Crashing

At some point, we all have encountered the Netflix app crashing issue. When this happens with Netflix, there’s a panic, and we just look around for a solution. So here are a few steps you can use to fix the problem.

Note: Depending on the device you are using Netflix, and facing the problem, the steps will vary.

If you are using Netflix on a smartphone and keeps crashing there, you need to force stop the Netflix app. If this doesn’t help, try restarting the device, as this will reset certain settings. However, if this doesn’t help, try reinstalling the app; this will stop the Netflix app from crashing. In case the same problem happens with a set-top box, try the same steps.

Furthermore, if you are using Netflix on a smart TV, try signing out of the app and then clear the TV’s cache. Once that’s done, sign-in again; this should help. Windows users need to disable antivirus as sometimes it interferes with the service. After following these steps, you should be able to use Netflix.

2. Fix for Netflix Error 12001 On Android

Most Android users have reported facing error code 12001 on their smartphones and tablets.

3. Can’t Download Netflix Content

Before 2016, downloading content from Netflix wasn’t possible. If you are in a poor network area, you could not enjoy Netflix, but now things have changed. Unluckily, it isn’t flawless; users have reported facing issues. So, if you are struggling with downloading content, here are a few things you should abide by. Failing to do so will not let you fix content not downloaded on Netflix.

Firstly, the download feature doesn’t work on a rooted Android or jailbroken iPhone. If you are using such a device, then stop thinking of using Netflix’s download feature.

Secondly, if you are not running Android 4.4.2 or higher and iOS 8 and higher, this feature will not be available. This means you will need to upgrade the OS and then will have to update the Netflix app.

In case you are not running a rooted device or jailbroken phone and have an updated Netflix app still facing problems, you will have to reinstall the Netflix app.

5. Fix – Too Many Users Watching Netflix

To meet everyone’s needs, Netflix offers different price plans. However, the top plan allows a maximum of four people. This means at a time; four people can use the same account. While using Netflix, if you get the message, “Your Netflix account is in use on another device; please stop playing on other devices to continue,” this means the fifth person is trying to access the account. To resolve this, you can terminate all sessions. To do so, head to Account > Settings > Sign out of all devices.

But if this seems too much, you can check streaming activity and ask one of the users to logout. To check the activity, head to Account > Settings > Recent device streaming activity. Here, you can see all the current sessions and ask one of the users to log out.

Note: If you are not sure how many screens your plan allows, head to Account > Plan Details.
