As promised by Google, the company is launching a free version of the Stadia today. This means the entry fee of $130 on Stadia cloud gaming service is waived off and people confined to their homes due to coronavirus can enjoy high-end video games on Google Stadia for free.
Gamers in 14 countries, i.e. The United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark will get free access.
Starting today, it will roll out over the next 48 hours.
Is the trial version free, what will users get?
Technically it is, without paying a dime users can access cloud gaming on almost any device. A device that supports the Google Chrome browser can be used to play the game. Gamers get nine titles to play, and they are:
Destiny 2: The Collection
Thumper
GRID
SteamWorld Dig 2, etc.
Both Mac and Windows users can play games using their mouse and keyboard or a controller. The service also works on different Android devices.
Is there anything for existing Stadia users?
Indeed, just like the new user’s present Stadia users will also get two months of the service for free. They will not be charged for the coming two months. In addition to the free titles, if gamers want, they want to buy other games on the services.

The Stadia Pro game streaming service will return to the basic free Stadia limited where you will get 60fps stereo sound and 1080p resolution.
