Apple Update: macOS 10.14.3, iOS 12.1.3, watchOS 5.1.3 & tvOS 12.1.2 Released

Apple released new software updates that includes bug fixes and security improvements to boost the stability, performance and reliability of your devices. The list includes: iOS 12.1.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, iOS 12.1.3 for HomePod, macOS Mojave 10.14.3 for Mac, watchOS 5.1.3 for Apple Watch and tvOS 12.1.2 for the fourth-generation Apple TV and Apple TV 4K.

What’s In iOS 12.1.3?

This update of iOS includes bug fixes and security improvements for iPhone or iPad:

• Fixed an issue in Messages that impacted scrolling through photos in the Details view.
• Addresses an issue where photos could have striped artifacts after being sent from the Share Sheet.
• Fixed an issue that caused audio distortion when using external audio input devices on iPad Pro (2018).
• Resolved an issue that caused certain CarPlay systems to disconnect from iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max

This software update also includes bug fixes for HomePod: iOS 12.1.3 for HomePod

• Fixed an issue that may have caused HomePod to restart
• Addresses an issue that could cause Siri to stop listening

What’s In The Updates For macOS Mojave?

With this roll out, Apple also released macOS Mojave 10.14.3 update.

This update is for improving security, stability and compatibility of Mac. It includes, making a file-sharing connection that uses a valid Kerberos TGT to authenticate, users are no longer prompted to enter credentials.

What’s New In tvOS 12.1.2 & watchOS 5.1.3?

The new tvOS 12.1.2 update consists of general performance and stability improvements. Similarly, watchOS 5.1.3 includes improvements and bug fixes.

What’s More?

With add-on to new software updates, Apple released some security updates for Safari and iCloud for Windows 7.10 too.

In Safari, a cross-site scripting issue was addressed with improved URL validation. Also, multiple memory corruption issues were addressed with improved memory handling.
