How to Watch YouTube On Your Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick

After a long argument with no solution between Amazon and Google on the right to stream YouTube videos, Mozilla has come up with a solution. It has announced an app named ‘Firefox for TV’ that will help to launch popular videos sites like YouTube and others to play full screen videos on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.

The app available on AppStore in the United States and fully supports YouTube videos. Using the application you can easily browse the web on your TV screen like searching for vides, visiting websites by typing in the URL. Also, on the Firefox home screen there’s a shortcut to access YouTube that makes accessing YouTube app easier.

To download and install Firefox from Fire TV follow the steps below:

1. Go to the search icon present at the top left corner of the home screen. Here enter “Firefox” as the search criteria.
   Alternatively, you can also give voice command. To do so, press and hold the microphone key and say “Firefox”
2. This will bring for you list with all the search results, select “Firefox for Fire Tv” from it.
3. A new page with Firefox details will be opened click on ‘Get’ button to install Firefox.

1. Log in to your Amazon account
2. Next select ‘Apps and Games’ by clicking on the down arrow present at the left of the search window.
   
3. Here enter ‘Firefox for Fire TV’ in the search field.
4. Before clicking on Get button to install Fire TV make sure correct device is selected under your devices and then click on Deliver present at the right side of the page.

The announcement made by Mozilla just came in time as Google’s decision to pull YouTube support from 1^st January from Amazon devices was not welcomed. This may be a temporary solution but soon both the tech giants will have to reach to a decision.
