  • Download Maps Offline

Once you’ve picked the destination and booked the flight tickets, then this is what you can do to make your life easier. Majority of renowned navigation apps including Google Maps offer us an offline maps feature which lets us access maps even without Internet. While traveling in low reception areas or in areas where data connectivity is almost nil, this feature might be really helpful.

  1. Launch Google Maps app on your Smartphone.
  2. Tap on Menu>Offline Maps> Select your own map> Download.

  • Enable Offline translation

Planning a trip of foreign country? Then most probably you’ll face issues due to language barrier, as people there won’t be able to communicate in your native language. So to overcome this trouble, here’s what you can do:

  2. Go to Menu> Offline Translation.
  3. From the available list of languages pick any one and then tap the Download button right next to it.
