Once Windows starts booting, press the Power button, interrupting the loading process – do this two more times until you get Advanced Startup mode 3. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and Restart. 4. After a reboot, pick either 4/F4 for Safe Mode or 5/F5 for Safe Mode with Networking. 5. Type cmd in Windows search 6. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator 7. In the new window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. 8. Wait till Windows completes the scan and then reboot your computer.
