Bookmarking a page is a good habit because it allows you to quickly open the webpages you use frequently. However, if you have recently switched your web browser, then you will not find any bookmarks in the new browser. What can be done then? Do you need to manually add all your bookmarks again? So, there is a quick way to get your bookmarks to your new web browser. In this article, we will explain how can you import your bookmarks to Google Chrome browser from other web browsers.
- Go to Google Chrome and click on three dots given on the top right.
- Click bookmarks and then select import bookmarks and settings from the subsequent list.

- Next, select the browser from which you want to import bookmarks.
- Choose the relevant web browser and click on import. If you do not want to import browsing history with bookmarks, you can deselect Browsing History. The same applies for saved passwords.
- Now you will see a window like this.
Check the “Always show bookmarks” box and click on Done.
Note: You must close the browser from which you are importing settings before you click on the import button.
