Google is all set to launch its Android N, but what’s delaying its release? Well, it’s the flag name for Android N.
At its Google I/O 2016 conference, the company announced that it would be coming up with a new dessert-themed name for Android N.
Followed by the announcement, Google has opened a gateway to involve common gentry in fixing up a name for the new Android version. The company has dedicated a website in order to welcome user inputs in naming the latest OS.
Google is looking for a dessert name starting with the letter N to denote ‘N’ in Android N. The pole started on 18th May, 2016 at 9 A.M. and will run until 11:59 P.M. on 8th June, 2016. Google has listed many names starting N on this website and is urging users to come up with even more fascinating names.
Will Android N be named Android ‘Neyyappam’?
Wherein all sort of ideas are invited by Google, there is a possible inclination towards ‘Neyyappam’ as its name. Neyyappam is a delicious dessert of southern parts of India. Indian users are giving their pole in favor of Neyyappam with an expectation to get it finalized.
Other trending names are NutCho, Nutella, Nougat, New York Cheesecake, Nachos and Nut Brittle.
Although the terms and policies of the pole don’t support any such facts. Even if there is an inclination from users towards a particular name, there’s no assurance for it to win. Google holds all the rights to finalize the concluding name.
Android N Names
