Google Says Now No Local News Shall Go Unnoticed

As Google is better known for its innovations and new ideas, Bulletin is another attempt that will help the stories hidden deep inside to come up front.

Google Bulletin is a new app, unveiled by Google that is based on crowdsourcing model. Using this app users can share the localized news and stories to the entire world right from their smartphone. In a post Google has described Bulletin by saying, Bulletin is an app for contributing hyperlocal stories about your community, for your community, right from your phone. Bulletin makes it effortless to put a spotlight on inspiring stories that aren’t being told.

This means that a story no matter from where it comes will not remain unnoticed. Moreover, as the stories will be directly appearing under Google Search, they will accessible at every corner of the world.

Also, with the Bulletin app you can write a completely fresh news story and get it published directly on the web. And that too without any platform like a blog site or any website.

How Does Google Bulletin Work?

Since the Bulletin app is in its early stage therefore not much is unveiled. However, as per Google Bulletin is a light weighted app to create a story or news just by clicking photos, capturing videos and adding text to it. To get this story published you do not even need a computer or a website as you can publish them directly from your phone.

As per Google “If you are comfortable taking photos or sending messages, you can create a Bulletin story!”

But what Google will do to judge the authenticity of the news shared via Bulletin is still unclear. As the Bulletin community guidelines also didn’t much describe that.

Who Can Use Bulletin To Create a Story?

Almost anyone who has the zeal and desire to make his local story a global one can use this app. However at present, it is limited to a pilot release only accessible in Nashville, TN and Oakland, California. The official launch date for this app has not yet been confirmed in
