Was looking for alternatives to Windows Photo Gallery that was part of Windows Live, so I could recommend one or two to a customer. Very pleased with the layout of your list. Just one little criticism: there were some of the descriptions that were missing a download link. Other than that it was a great list!Srishti Sisodia

It is a very nice software. I use it for 1-2 years. Unfortunately it doesn’t support back up for HEIC files. It is very annoying to convert them to jpeg.prashant gk
Can you suggest a few photo software similar to Google Photos, which can help in identifying photos (like trees/people/flowers/monuments etc), and hence can be used to organize according to a user need. It will be very helpful of you. Thank YouLes Buschow
Will anyone one of them put them in order by date in each album like Photoshop does? I like Picasa, but when you date them in each, you have to go thru each album and move them into the right place. I have over 25 000 pictures and would like your idea on the best one for me. Needs to fix duplicates, keep in order date wise, easy to get pictures from iPad or camera and post o. Facebook, do not like going thru Microsoft Photo instead of Picasa.. need the use of cropping, lighting, red eye and lighting. Recommend?
