Apple News Plus
The tech giant has introduced a new premium service that adds magazines to its existing Apple News app. This means, now you can enjoy both news and entertaining magazines at the same place. The service includes more than 300 magazines for just $9.99 per month. It’s like a subscription model that would also allow to sign up for newspapers & other digital media outlets like, The LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Vulture, TechCrunch and a lot more.

Apple Arcade – The Gaming Hub
Following up on Google’s announcement about Stadia last week, now we have Apple Arcade.
The Cupertino-based company has revealed something groundbreaking in the field of online & mobile gaming, and it’s titled as Apple Arcade. The service gives access to more than 100 exclusive games which can be played on iPhone, MacBook, iPad, iMac, and Apple TV. And, the most interesting part? If you choose to switch devices, you can easily pick up from where you left off on another.
Other Features:
- 100+ games.
- Offers a family sharing plan so that all members can play on a single subscription cost.
- Games will also be available for offline playing.
What Games Will Be Available?
Games like Beyond the Steel Sky, Fantasian, Sonic the Hedgehog, Lego, Konami, Where Cards Fall, Overland, Lifelike and a lot more would be featured.
When It Will Be Launched?
Autumn 2019.
The New Apple TV App
The redesigned version of existing TV app will bring together shows, sports, movies, news, and more in one portal.
The revamped version of Apple TV App will now focus on streaming channels like Acorn TV, Tastemade, HBO, CBS, PBS without wagering users to switch to a third-party app. A new ‘For You’ section will also be introduced which would recommend content based on your likes and preferences. The updated app is designed to suggest content from over 100+ streaming apps like Amazon Prime, PlayStation Vue, Hulu and more.
The company confirmed that the new app will also be launched on Smart TVs from Samsung, Sony, LG & VIZIO.
When We Can Expect The Updated Version?
The update will be received this May.
Apple Card
Apple now has a credit card – – – literally. It’s named as Apple Card & it genuinely sounds very interesting.
The card offers immediate online signup, app-based support & much more. The card is introduced in partnership with MasterCard and Goldman Sachs. And, it will be available as both digitally and tangibly (where Apple Pay isn’t available).
Unlike traditional methods to apply for a credit card, you can request directly for it through your iPhone’s Wallet App, once approved, the card will be digitally stored where you can view your balance, statements & pay due dates.
Where Can You Use The Apple Card?
You can use Apple’s credit card:
- For in app purchases.
- Online web stores.
- Physical stores.
- And anywhere in the world where MasterCard is accepted!
When Can You Get It?
The Apple Card will be launched through the Wallet app on your iPhone this Summer.
Apple TV Plus
The mysterious TV subscription service now has a name, Apple TV+.
To note, Apple TV+ is not an app or a separate experience. You have to stream it through Apple TV app. The service is meant to feature company’s original TV shows, movies and other content. The video subscription service will be ad-free, available in 100+ countries & watchable both online and offline.
The company showcased a video montage teasing Apple TV+ content at the event.
How Much It Will Cost?
No official statements have been made by the company, but as rumored the pricing tiers would be similar to Netflix & other competitive streaming services.
The Launch Date?
Apple confirmed a date of fall for its original content in October.
The all new Apple TV+ seems like a promising platform for the company’s future entertainment plans, making all its devices and apps a one-stop place to watch everything you’ll ever want.
