Flipping your computer screen upside down or sideways, sounds like an amazing prank to freak out friends and colleagues.
However sometimes, you might accidentally do it while working on something important and have no idea how to fix it.

There are two ways to fix it.
1. Keyboard Shortcuts
Using a quick keyboard shortcut can resolve your issue and bring things back to normal.
The commonly used shortcuts key to resolve the issue are –
CTRL+ALT+Up Arrow, CTRL+ALT+Down Arrow, CTRL+Alt+Left Arrow, CTRL+Alt+Right Arrow. Try using these keys to resolve the issue and if this doesn’t help then try another method to resolve the issue.
2. Display Orientation Settings
Keyboard shortcuts doesn’t work for you, try to change the display orientation settings to fix this issue.

For Windows 7
- Click on Windows button(present at the lower left hand corner)
- List of programs should appear, choose Control panel, you can get Control Panel by typing control panel in Run Window( press Windows and R key together).
- Once the Control Panel interface opens up, navigate to Adjust Screen Resolution under the heading Appearance and Personalization
- You will get a screen – Change the appearance of the display
- Choose Landscape from the Orientation drop-down menu.
- Click on Apply.
- Display Settings dialog box will appear and ask if you need to keep the changes. Click on Keep Changes, if you want to keep the changes.
For Windows 8
- Click on Windows button(present at the lower left hand corner)
- List of programs should appear, choose Control panel, you can get Control Panel by typing control panel in Run Window( press Windows and R key together).
- Once the Control Panel interface opens up, navigate to Adjust Screen Resolution under the heading Appearance and Personalization
- Change the appearance of the display screen would come up, choose Landscape option from the Orientation drop-down menu and click on Apply.
- A small dialog box would appear with two options to choose Keep Changes or Revert. Choose Keep Changes if you want to keep the changes
For Windows 10
- Do a right click on an empty space anywhere on your desktop.
- A pop-up window should appear, select Display settings or simply type in search bar Display settings.
- Once the Display settings appear, select Landscape from the drop-down menu labeled Orientation.
- Click on Apply button
- A pop-up will appear asking to whether save or discard the changes – click on Keep Changes if you are ok with the new settings or click on Revert.
