Twitter introduces the Tweet View Count feature. It will help Twitter users to know how many people have viewed their posts and also help to understand the Reach Factor.

Additionally, Twitter introduced the $Cashtags feature. It will let users check the stock price of businesses listed on US stock exchanges, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), or cryptocurrencies by placing a dollar sign in front of the symbol. For example, if the user wanted to know about the Google Stock Price then he/she would have to type $GOOGL.

What Is The Tweet View Count Feature?

This feature will help the users know how many times their particular tweet has been seen. It is similar to the View Count feature on YouTube and is expected to encourage Twitter users to keep tweeting. Prior to this, only the users who tweeted used tweet analytics to track views.

View Tweet Activity If you haven’t received the View Tweet Count feature yet, you can always get detailed analytics about your tweets. Just tap on your Tweet and you will be able to see a small graph labeled “View Tweet Activity”. This feature helps Twitter users to view certain information about the Tweets they have posted. Impressions (Number of times a tweet was viewed). Details (Number of times details of a tweet were seen). Profile Views ( Number of Profile views from this tweet). New Followers ( Number of new Follows received from this tweet). Engagements ( Number of times different users have interacted with this tweet).

Recently, numerous individuals shared photos of tweets that on their devices displayed four selections rather than three. As a result, the view count option could be seen among Retweets, Quote Tweets, and Likes in these screenshots. Furthermore, not all Twitter users have received this feature, and only a small number of people have been able to see it.

What Is The $Cashtags Feature?

Elon Musk applauded Twitter for bringing a new financial tool to the platform. One of many product upgrades coming to financial Twitter, the billionaire wrote. He was referring to the $CashTags feature which is primarily made for traders, investors, financial professionals, and organizations. Users will be able to view charts and graphs of important equities, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and cryptocurrencies all within a tweet.

This new function has been explained on the platform itself via the Twitter Business account. Therefore, if you tweet an acronym for a popular stock and add the dollar sign ($) before it, that stock will now be clickable. Additionally, it will direct the user to the stock’s search results, which will display its pricing graph and other information. People on Twitter see a clickable link that leads them to search results when you Tweet the symbol of a significant stock, ETF, or cryptocurrency with a $ in front of it (like $BTC).

What Next From Twitter?

Since Musk became the company’s new CEO in October, Twitter has undergone a lot of experimentation and improvements. During his eight-week tenure, there were numerous disputes over issues like content moderation, Blue tick charges, and dismissals. Donald Trump, a former US president, was reinstated on Twitter after being banned due to riots on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021. Expectedly, that choice was also condemned. But this week, when he launched a poll asking if he ought to resign, he finally gave up. He followed the decision made after “yes” votes from the majority of users. But he hasn’t yet named a replacement.

The Tweet View Count feature might help Twitter to gain more users and encourage its existing users to keep Twitter alive by shunning their silent participation and start tweeting more and more.
