There is no doubt that notifications are a vital part of our smartphones. A quick view keeps us updated about our messages, mails, news etc. However, when we need some quiet time, the same notifications can be a menace.
To resolve this issue, Google in its latest release of Android version 8, provides us with an option to snooze notifications. This gives you your required time off from your phones.

How to Get Started
To implement this feature your phone needs to have the latest version of Android installed on it.
To get started you need to slightly slide the notification tab towards the right. If you completely slide the notification then it will disappear from the notification bar.
- When you slide the notification you will find a Clock icon along with Settings icon. Tap on the clock icon.
You will get the Snooze menu option. By default, it is set to 1 hour, however, you can easily change it as per your requirement.

To customise it, select the snooze time as per your requirement. You have options ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Now you have successfully snoozed the notifications. The notifications will diminish from the screen for the set time frame and will be visible again after the snooze time is up.
