Navigate to Settings> General> AirDrop and set it as “Contacts Only” so that only the selected recipient can get access to the shared information.

Now, head back to the Settings page, select Passwords & Accounts> Website and App Passwords.

As Apple leaves no stone unturned when it comes to security, in the next step, you will be prompted to enter your device passcode (If there’s any) to confirm your identity and authenticate the process.

Pick the app whose user id and password you need to send across, and then long-press on it.

Here you will see two options, one is Copy, and the other is “AirDrop”.

Tap on AirDrop, select your contact’s name and then tap on “Done” to share your password securely.
