- Go to Settings app on your iPad Pro.
- Locate Face ID and Passcode.
- You will be prompted to enter your Passcode.
- Now Tap on Set Up Face ID.
- Proceed further and tap Get Started.
- You need to position your face inside the circle.
- You need to move head slowly in that circle.
- Now, tap on Continue and then on Done.
Steps To Disable Required Attention for Face ID on iPad Pro
iPad Pro comes with a feature Required Attention, which if enabled means that you can’t use Face ID or validate any logins unless you look directly at your new iPad Pro. If you don’t want to always want to use this, disable Required Attention.
Step 1: Locate Settings on the Home page on your iPad.
Step 2: On settings page, tap on Face ID & Passcode.
Step 3: Enter your passcode to proceed further.

Steps To Turn On Attention Awareness Feature On Face ID on iPad Pro
Whether the feature Required Attention is turned on or disabled, you can activate Attention Awareness, which needs your attention before it dims display or turn the volume of alerts on iPad Pro. It saves the battery of your iPad Pro. Follow these steps to enable Required Attention:
Step 1: Go to Settings on your device.
Step 2: Locate and Tap on Face ID & Passcode.
Step 3: You need to enter Passcode to authenticate.
Step 4: Navigate to Attention Awareness feature and turn it on.
Steps To Add Another Person To Your Face ID on iPad Pro
If your iPad Pro is used by your family members as well, you can add their Face ID as well. It is also good to add another person’s Face ID, just in case you want to make changes to the way you look. Follow these steps to unlock iPad Pro with Face ID:
Step 1: Go to Settings on your iPad Pro.
Step 2: Navigate to Face ID & Passcode

Steps To Reset Face ID on iPad Pro
In case you are not able to use your Face ID to unlock your iPad Pro, then you can reset Face ID to give a fresh start.
