• Install ADB aka Android Debug Bridge on your PC/Laptop. For this click on this link and download Android SDK platform tools for Windows.

• Now unpack the zip file where you want to put the tool kit files after downloading them.
• Now enable USB debugging on your Android smartphone.
• Open Settings > About phone > Build Number. Click on Build number seven times and it will activate Developer Options on your smartphone.

• Open System > tap on Developer options. Enable USB debugging.

How to Downgrade Android Apps Without Losing Any Data

After taking care of all the requirements, you can begin the operation itself. The steps are listed below.

Step 1: Connect your smartphone to the PC/Laptop with a USB cable.

Step 2: Go to the APKMirror website and download the APK file of desired Android app.

Step 3: Paste this APK file into the downloaded & extracted ADB folder.

Step 4: While staying in that ADB folder, press the Shift key and right-click anywhere on the folder.

Step 5: Now tap on the Open Powershell window here from the context menu.

Step 6: Now paste the following commands in the Powershell window and hit the enter key.

adb push cricbuzz.apk /sdcard/cricbuzz.apk

adb shell pm install -r  -d /sdcard/cricbuzz.apk

Replace the cricbuzz.apk with the name of the app you want to downgrade and whose APK you have downloaded.
