Taking a screenshot is quite trendy nowadays. Whether you want to prove something to your girlfriend or want to brag about the high score you made on your favorite game, you take a screenshot and share, because who believes words, right?
iPad Pro now comes with Face ID and no Home Button, that’s why taking a screenshot is quite different from the previous versions. Let’s take a look!
Steps To Take A Screenshot On The iPad Pro
Follow these steps to take a screenshot on your new iPad Pro:
Step 1: Go to the screen you want to take a screenshot of.
Step 2: Adjust the screen the way you want to capture a shot of.
Step 3: Press Power button, or Sleep/Wake Button located at the upper side of iPad Pro along with Volume Up button, located at the right-hand side of iPad Pro simultaneously.
Step 4: You will see a white flash on the screen along with camera shutter sound.
Step 5: The captured screenshot can be seen at the bottom left side of the screen. You can edit or add text or mark it up (Instant Markup) if you want before sending it to your friends.
Steps To Use Instant Markup For Screenshots
Once you have taken a screenshot, it appears at the bottom left side of the screen. You can tap on it to come up to the screen, it will lead you to Instant Markup. Instant Markup has a number of tools such as highlighter, marker, eraser, pencil & Magic Rope. It also gives you an option to change the color of writing tools from the default white to blue, black, green and more. You can crop the screenshot, to do that you need to touch the edges of the screenshot and adjust the sides accordingly.
Along with, there are four different tools available that you can use on Screenshot. To access them you can tap on Plus button (More). The options are:
Text: You can add text to your screenshot. Select the tool then a new field will appear, tap on it to get a keyboard to enter text.
Signature: If you never created a signature, then it will take you to a white screen, draw your signature. Now go to Signature, it will show your signature, select it to add on the screenshot.
Magnifier: You can zoom in any of the corner of the screenshot, which you want to highlight. Tap on it and place it anywhere on the screenshot. You can also change the size and shape of the magnifier, along with the amount of zoom.
Shapes: If you want to add a shape on the screenshot, select the shape and place it on the screenshot. You can increase and decrease the shape and size of the shape.
When you have done the editing or added relevant things, you can share it with your friends using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or can save the screenshot to Photo Library.
View & Edit Screenshot Later:
Once you have captured a screenshot and saved it on your Photos app, you can edit them afterwards as well. Let’s take look how!
Step 1: Locate Photos app from Home screen.
Step 2: Navigate to Albums and then locate & tap on Screenshots.
Step 3: Locate the screenshot to view.
Step 4: On the upper right corner locate Edit and tap on it.
