Gmail app for our smartphones has provided us unrestricted access to all our emails. Whether we are on the move, or enjoying a movie, an email can be read and reverted to anytime, in case it’s urgent. Unlike in the past when to read and revert a mail, we have to open our system, sign in to Gmail now all we have to tap on email notification that appears on our smartphone.
However still sometimes we find ourselves in a situation when it is necessary to revert to an email but due to shortage of time, we are unable to do. For such situations, Gmail for Android and iOS has provided a way feature of smart reply for instant response. As we all know that Google is working so hard to leave no stone upturned in the field of Artificial Intelligence this smart reply feature is a part of it.
Although this feature was introduced almost a year back still many users are unaware of it as it is deeply buried in the settings of Gmail app. So, if you too do not know much about this feature then continue reading till the end.
How to Enable Smart Reply on Android?
1. Tap on Gmail icon to launch Gmail app.
2.Now tap on option icon, i.e. three parallel horizontal lines located at the top-left corner of the screen.
How the Smart Reply Feature Works?
As discussed earlier this Smart Reply is based on Artificial Intelligence it provides an automatic reply to an email that hit the inbox. This means once an email comes to inbox Gmail reviews the email and depending on that text comes with different responses accordingly.
Say for an example above when a mail arrives in the inbox asking ‘’let’s have dinner together”, then Gmail automatically suggests three different replies such as “Sure! When?”, sure what time? And No, I can’t. Now to revert to the mail all you need to do is just choose a response, tap on it and hit the send button.
This means once you turn on smart reply, only a few taps are required to answer an email. That’s it, guys. If you are not using this awesome feature till now then turn on the smart reply for instant replies in Gmail.
