Google, a big giant in the game when it comes to using daily routine things, no matter what your geographical location is. From as small as searching something online to as big as making a transaction online, Google is everywhere.
Since we’re talking about online transactions, we all know that Google provides many ways to pay for things on devices as well as on the web. And we also know that all of these transactions fall into one of several product buckets.
So here we are going to talk about Google Pay App, which unifies the Android Pay, Google Wallet, and even Chrome autofill payment info under the same umbrella.
If we all remember, initially when Google came up with mobile NFC payments to phones in 2011, it was branded as Google Wallet which later on got swapped in Android Pay. Now, the limitation was, While Android Pay was only available to Android users, Google Wallet was available on iOS and via Gmail as well. After a long period of time, in early 2018, Google announced that Google Wallet and Android Pay will be merged into one and will be rebranded as Google Pay. Finally, this is how the name of Google’s payment platform came into the picture that we use in our day to day lives.
Since Google Pay has been so useful while making payments to retailers, in the Play Store, or in other Google apps, Google either keeps updating the app with new features or starts adding new Banking partners to provide more to the user.
Now the latest update on Google Pay is specifically quite geographical as it somewhere touches only the United States Of America GPay users. The company has revised the updated list of the banking partners where it has added 38 more banks along with a few credit unions. That means, now the users in the USA have more banks to select from.
