You can utilize the new Siri features on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, but only the newer models(iPhone XS or newer) receive these modest upgrades, and you need iOS 16 or later, the most recent version of iOS 16.2, to enable Siri to carry out these functions. Let’s learn more about these additional abilities Siri has now.
With Siri, You can now Insert Emojis into Texts
With the most recent enhancements to its features, Siri has simply become more practical. Emojis may now be quickly added to your texts using Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. Say the message you want to send, the name of the emotion you wish to convey, and then add the term “emoji” at the end. For instance, if you say “I’m very happy! happy face emoji,” Siri will enter the emoji for you. Make sure your device is on the most recent iOS update and has at least iOS 16.2 installed to benefit from this feature.
Restart your iPhone without touching it
Yes, you read it right. You can now restart your iPhone without even touching any buttons. Forcing a restart on your iPhone used to be a hassle, with multiple steps involved whether it was through button combinations or the settings app. But now, with Siri’s new update, all you have to do is say “Hey Siri, restart my phone” and it will do it for you, making the process quick and easy.
With the latest iOS(iOS 16.2) update, Siri has the power to do it all with just a simple voice command. Simply activate Siri with “Hey Siri” and say “restart my iPhone” and Siri will confirm your request before restarting your device. No more hassle and frustration, just a quick and easy fix with the help of Siri.
