Pin Pages To Taskbar:
With Edge in Windows 10 Creators Update, it is now easy to pin websites to the taskbar.
To do so, proceed with the following steps:
- Launch Microsoft Edge.
- From the extreme top right corner, click on the three horizontal dots.
- From the drop-down menu, locate Pin this page to the taskbar and then click on it.
- Once done you will see the website icon on the taskbar.
Full-Screen Mode
With Microsoft Edge browser, it is now possible to enjoy full screen mode. Full screen eliminates all the browser menus as well as the task bar. To do so, simply click F11. Toggling the F11 key on and off makes user enter and exit the Full-Screen.
An alternate method is described below:
- Launch Edge browser and click on the three horizontal dots present on extreme top right corner.
- From the drop-down menu locate Zoom. Besides Zoom you will see a diagonal arrow pointing two sides. Click on it to enter the Full Screen.
- To exit the full screen, press F11 key.

Integrate Your Phone With Your PC

With Edge in Windows 10 Creators Update, it is now possible to start writing on your mobile and then continuing it on your Windows 10 PC.
As a user, they are required to download the preview version of Microsoft Edge browser to their iOS or Android phones. You can also install Cortana app to do so. Once done simply connect your phone from Settings. Once the connection has been made you can resume your work on your PC.
Enhanced Bookmarking:
With Microsoft Edge, even saving Bookmarks has become easy. Bookmarks now allow you to maintain a hierarchy of the bookmarks according to your priorities.
Simple press both Control and D simultaneously on your Edge browser or click on the Star button near to the address bar and save as many bookmarks you want. Setting a hierarchy based upon preference makes it easy for the user to locate the bookmarks.
You can also edit your Bookmarks with Microsoft Edge. Simply navigate to the Favorites hub and locate the bookmark you from the drop down that you want to edit.
Right click on it and from the Drop Down there are two new options, Sort by name and Edit URL. Edit URL lets you edit the web page address whereas Sort by name lets you arrange all your favorites in an alphabetical order.
Website Permissions
Nowadays, a major percentage of websites support location based services and push notifications. Owing to this, users are bombarded with permission requests to allow access to track their location etc.
In aid to this, Edge has now introduced a new feature, Show site information. This feature lets the user review the permissions.
To do so, click on the lock icon present on the address bar. This will display a small pop down menu which has all the site information.
As an alternate method, you can also navigate to Microsoft Edge settings > View advanced settings. Here under Website Permissions, locate and tap the Manage button. The manage button displays all the site permission including the ones you have granted to the websites.
