iPhone X has created a lot of buzz in the tech market since its launch. Undoubtedly it is one huge monumental leap by Apple by actually removing the home button and providing a shiny bezel free touch display to users. Apple fans all over the world are going crazy about this gadget. Although losing the home button and altering the design was one big gamble but isn’t it all worth the wait?
iPhone X is surely a mascot of rebooted design and innovation by Apple. But it has been a lot in headlines since its launch, well mostly for not so good reasons). iPhone X is associated with a state of commotion amongst users. A lot of user complaints including hardware issues, have been reported lately. Especially, the big price tag that comes along, user’s expectations are pretty reasonable.
However, there are a few things we wish were different in iPhone X. Let’s hear them one by one in detail.
The Notch
Yes, we’ are talking about the notch on iPhone X’s display. Some users are still under a misconception that it automatically hides itself when they use the phone. But for some it’s nonetheless but an annoying nuisance. Apple promised users a full screen 100% display but this notch covers a certain amount of screen space. Yes, obviously Apple has placed it there for a reason, Apple’s TruDepth Camera system jibber jabber!
But most of the users still wish to see how Apple keeps their promise and delivers a gadget with 100% screen display in future (minus the notch). The more the better, right?
The Camera Resolution
iPhone X has an incredible camera—agreed! But is it actually worth all the money you spent on buying this device? Google Pixel 2 offers a much better camera resolution (Front and rear both). No, we’re not here to pick sides! but, it’s just that iPhone X camera could have been a lot better than this. Because of the poor camera software Apple has used, it is somehow unable to justify its glory.
The front lens of iPhone X is still something to boast about but the rear lens is just ordinary and produces inaccurate, normal looking photographs. We wish Apple could have put some more camera machines on the rear side of the handset too.
The Overrated “Animojis”
Apple’s TruDepth Camera is one of a kind. However, Apple overemphasized Augmented reality at iPhone X launch event, so it’s quite disillusioning that Apple hasn’t fabricated any smart AR independent applications that advantage the iPhone X’s camera yet. The same goes with Animojis too! Yes, we agree Animojis appear cute at first, but users probably get bored with them pretty fast. As we’re all aware that we can only film an Animoji for 10 seconds and that too on a plain white background. We wish Apple could have dropped in some more animated effects and attractive backgrounds that could have made using Animoji much more fun!
Here were a few things we wished were different in iPhone X. But no matter for how long the debate continues iPhone X will still be tagged as the future of Smartphones. Isn’t it?
