iOS 11 has not only made our iPhone more advanced and power packed, but also adds new features in iPad as well. With the introduction of iOS 11 now you can easily switch between various apps. In this way, it has increased the multi-tasking abilities of your iPad.
Now as a user you can place all your recently used apps on the right pane of your dock and favorite apps on the left side. And whenever you wish to use any of the apps just swipe right and tap on that app. Not only this but you can easily add more apps to the dock. All these have made switching between apps quite easy and convenient.
However, as you cannot make everyone happy, same goes with this feature. There are many users who do not wish to continue with this feature and want to disable it. Hence it would be useful if we discussed how to remove apps from dock on your iPad.
How To Get Started:
- Launch the Settings menu of your iPad by tapping on Settings icon. Now scroll down and tap on General option.
- Now scroll a bit and tap on Multitasking & Dock.

- Once you tap on Multitasking & Dock you will find an option of Show Suggested and Recent Apps. Since we wish to hide recent apps from the dock, therefore tap on the toggle switch to disable it.

That’s it. Now your dock will no more cluttered with the recent apps. The only apps which your dock will contain are the one which you deliberately put there.
