Step 1. Double click on the Edge shortcut to launch the browser.

Step 2. Once the browser is launched, click on the three dots in the top-right corner.

Step 3. From the drop-down menu, locate and select Settings.

Step 4. A new settings tab will open and locate Privacy, search and services on the left side menu.

Step 5. Now click once anywhere on the right side of the tab and scroll down until you reach the heading labelled as Clear browsing Data. Under this, click on Choose What to Clear.

Step 6. A drop-down menu will appear where you can select a time frame from the list of the options provided. Generally, you will be able to clear cache from the past hour or 24 hours and one week or four weeks.

Step 7. Once you have selected the time frame, you then need to choose the type of data you want to delete by placing a tick in the checkboxes next to the options.

Step 8. Click the “Clear now” button and everything within the selected timeframe will be deleted.

Note: Place a tick next to the checkbox labelled as Cookies and other site data to clear cookies on Edge.

How To Delete The Cache Automatically?

Step 6. Under the heading above, click on the arrow next to “Choose what to clear every time you close the browser”.

Step 7. Choose the data you want to be deleted every time you close the Edge browser and turn the toggle switch on towards right.

Step 8.Close the browser and reload Edge..

Note:  For clearing cache in Edge turn the toggle switch on towards the right, next to the option labelled as Cached Images and Files. For clearing cookies on Edge, turn the toggle switch next to Cookies and other site data.
