Google’s Pixel Buds: All You Need To Know!

San Francisco recently witnessed the much-awaited event of 2017. Yes, we are talking about the Google’s Pixel 2 event that materialized in San Francisco on Wednesday, 4th October 2017.

The event has created a buzz with the launch of the new Home Speakers, a flagship mobile phone and much more.

However, what stole the show was Google unveiling its first ever wireless headphones. At power with the Apple’s AirPods, Google’s wireless headphones have a lot to offer.

Most interesting feature is the real-time translation between 40 languages. This feature will bring the world closer by breaking the barriers of communication.

The wireless headphones are called the Google Pixel Buds and were launched for the new smartphone they introduced at the event, Pixel 2.

The Google Pixel Buds have the following attributes:

  1. As the name implies these are wireless and hence it is not required to attach them to the phone they are used with.
  2. The headphones cost $160 which is the same as Apple’s AirPods.
  3. They come along with a small recharge jack easy which can comfortably fit in your pocket.
  4. Google Pixel Buds use Google Assistant to take commands and respond to it accordingly.
  5. They come in 3 color variants, Kinda Blue, Clearly White, and Just Black.

Easy to use, these headphones can be paired with Pixel 2 phone or any other Android phone with Personal Assistant. All the commands can be given from the smartphone which has Google Assistant.Your wireless headphones can help you reach out a place by assisting you with the directions. Google has claimed that the Pixel Buds have zero lag time in translation. However, users are yet to experience how effectively they perform in the real-world scenario.

During the event, the demonstration illustrated two people conversing in two different languages. While one of them was speaking Swedish, the other person spoke in English. The wireless buds were easily able to translate the language in real time.

A first time in history, Pixel Buds are the Babel Fish becoming real.

Google Pixel Buds are expected to be in the market in November 2017. Now we have to see how well do they prove in translating languages in real time. Till then, all we can do is wait for them to be launched soon.
