Android Google Chrome Browser Gets An Editing And Screenshot Tool As A New Update

Google Chrome is the most commonly used browser across the globe on computers as well as Android devices. And to ensure that it remains the most popular browser, Google has been adding various new features to make things easy for its users. The latest addition to the Google Chrome browser for Android devices is the all-new Screenshot tool with an editor tool as well.

The feature is not an original idea as many browsers have embedded this feature like the Vivaldi browser that allows users to capture the screenshot of a web page only without the address bar on the top. This feature allows users to send only the content of the page with a few mouse clicks.

The Version 91 browser of Chrome Browser with the screenshot capability was first reported by 9to5Google which was visible in the sharing menu of the browser. All users can locate this new screenshot option by clicking on the three dots on the upper right corner and then clicking on the Share button. The first option on the button left is the Screenshot option.

Once the user has taken the screenshots, he/she can crop the image, draw something on it and add text if required. After the screenshot is captured. The user will automatically get three buttons at the bottom of the screen – Crop & Text & Draw. All actions also have an Undo & Redo button which means users can change something they have done. After all the changes have been done, click on the Next button on the top right. The browser gives you an option to share this image or save it on your smartphone.

This feature is being rolled out gradually to all Android mobile phones but in case you don’t get it, then try the following steps:

Step 1: Type chrome://flags/#chrome-share-screenshot in the address bar of your Android Chrome browser and Tap on Enter.

Step 2: Tap on the drop-down menu and choose Enabled.

Step 3: Close and restart the browser.

The Google Chrome Android Browser has added two new features which will undoubtedly make things easier for many to capture a screenshot, make a few edits and then send, share or save it. It reduces time consumption and the effort to use a third-party tool to capture your screen, crop, and add text to it.
