1. Sonic The Hedgehog
It’s been more than 25 years, and still out there, running on millions of devices, a masterpiece of 16-bit era, is once again coming on Nintendo Switch.
It’s a platform game that features a main protagonist Sonic, who is a hedgehog. It’s a speedy game, where Sonic keeps going through levels and obstacles to stop the antagonist Doctor Robotnik from taking over the world. Six chaos emeralds that are stolen by Dr. Robotnik, must be recovered by the Sonic to free up the animals and to complete the game as well.

2. Phantasy Star
One of the oldest of all Sega games, Phantasy Star was released in 1987 for Master System.
It is a role-playing video game, set up in Algol, which is a solar system with 3 planets. This game features a female protagonist Alis, who begins her journey to avenge her brother’s death, from King Lassic, ruler of Algol, who a sociopath and the main antagonist.
Phantasy Star, which was last released on Wii in 2009, is now making a comeback on Nintendo Switch this year.
3. Thunder Force 4
This was the fourth segment of Thunder Force series released in 1992. It is a single player shooting game.
The powerful fighter spacecraft, named as FIRE LEO-04 Rynex, is used to eliminate Vios, armed forces comprised of allies and enemies from ORN empire. Player must control Rynex while battling Vios. You have to go through 10 levels to complete the game.
Well, get ready to fly your fighter plane to create sonic boom, as this game will be coming on Nintendo Switch this summer.

4. Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Talking about classics, this game is one of the oldest. It is a 2D platform game, released in 1987 internationally for Master System.
Alex, lost son of King Thunder, a martial art artist, who is on his journey to defeat antagonist named Janken The Great. The final task of Alex is to retrieve the crown, and to make Prince Egle, son of King Thunder, a new king of the city of Radaxian.
In order to do that, he must defeat monster on his way and has to go through 17 levels, where he will meet Janken The Great.
5. Gain Ground
This was released in 1988. It is one of the most classic arcade strategy action game published & developed by Sega.
When in increasing danger, a Gain Ground simulation system is developed by federal government in year 2348. But, suddenly the system goes out of control and take citizens as hostages. In order to save the citizens, three saviors are deployed in the field, each with different weapons and strengths. There are about 20 characters in the game from which you can select, all with different characteristics, powers, and weapons.
For completing the game, player has to go through 50 levels, defeating the enemies at every point.
