Viewers can connect with well-known personalities and perform various tasks.
Those who love singing and dancing can connect with Alicia Keys and DaBaby,
Cooking lovers will have Bad Bunny, Christina, and Jose Andres. Alongside you can work out with Cam Newton and other celebrities. These are just a few to name.
Newer additions to this list are:
- Dua Lipa
- Kate Perry
- David Blaine
- John Legend
- Gabi Butler
- CHVRCHES
- Snoop Dogg
Other celebrities like Justin Willman, Jeremey Fall, Jen Atkin, and more will also join them.
When will the event start?
The event will run in the Houseparty app from May 15th to 17th.
How to join the Event?
To join the event, you will need to login to the Houseparty app and be online when the content is live. 30 minutes before each broadcast you will see shows that will be aired, this will help subscribe to the event and receive notifications when the show goes live.
In addition to this, you’ll see a TV icon when there’s a new stream.
This co-watching event is made possible due to the new video player. It is designed to watch and chat with your friends without covering their faces.
Note: The live show will re-air exactly 12 hours after the original show time. After which it will be gone permanently.
What is the motive behind the co-watching feature?
Unlike other live streams that you watch alone or send virtual likes here on Houseparty in a group video chat, you can join friends and can tune into the live content and watch together.
Watching the video together even when you aren’t together will be fun. This co-watching event seems to be just the beginning as users will be able to experience several other co-watching events.
Built For Social Distancing, Instagram’s New Co-Watching Feature Is All The Rage
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, entertainers have already turned to online performance but this event is something different. This is not just another musical concert but a way to bring people closer. Further, since the event is planned and scheduled everyone can manage their time accordingly and watch the event together.
